Where gentle touch meets proven technique

Restoring balance, comfort and confidence

Equine Sports Massage’s approach combines energy-based therapies, such as Photonic light (red light therapy), Phototherapy Patching and the lightest touch, with hands-on techniques such as sports massage, stretching, and tissue mobilisation. These methods aim to reduce tension, increase flexibility, and support neurological re-patterning. The methods are underpinned by the belief that the lightest, most intuitive touch often produces the deepest and most lasting results.

ESM takes a holistic and personalised approach to each treatment, carefully assessing the horse’s physical condition, temperament, and workload. The goal is to help each horse move freely, comfortably, and with confidence — whether they are preparing for high-level competition or enjoying retirement.

The key to effective equine management lies in being aware of, reducing, and eliminating problems before they escalate and become more serious. We encourage clients into a regular routine of bodywork for their horse, being a vital component to their overall health and performance.

Our treatments aim is to improve circulation, promote muscle relaxation, relieve tension, and enhance flexibility. By addressing these key areas, we assist in the prevention of injuries, aid in recovery, and optimise performance. Extending the competitive longevity of performance and pleasure horses.
